Ed & Lori Getzen

Ed Getzen has first hand experience when it comes to buying and selling businesses. He and his wife of 32 years, Lori, owned the Getzen co, a manufacturing company that produced brass wind instruments and employed 130 people. Of the total production sixty percent was exported to Europe and Japan.
They also were partners in a parts distribution company that inventoried over 15,000 line items, a manufactured housing development and were among several principals in the start-up of a community bank.
Lori also traveled Europe and was involved with sales, distribution and customer relations for the overseas accounts of the manufacturing co.
In addition to her role with Chesnut & Cape, Lori servers on the board of directors for the Charlotte County chapter of the American Cancer Society
Ed and Lori have been residents of southwest Florida since 1999.

Amanda Walk
Transaction Adviser
With a degree in Communication and a minor in Spanish (Castilian) from the University of Central Florida, Amanda is a long-time resident of Lee County Florida and has observed the region’s growth, first hand. Her business interests and career have kept her close to small to mid-sized businesses providing consulting and product services from payroll to equipment financing for her client companies. Determined to continue to do so, Amanda shares her penchant for the market she finds her self serving, when she noted that, "I truly enjoy working with small to mid size businesses and helping them thrive in today’s market place."
In addition to addressing the Exit Strategy needs of business owners through out Lee County, Amanda will also play an instrumental role with her colleagues at Chesnut & Cape Europe and in particular, Chesnut’s Madrid and Munich agencies.
Amanda is a member of the CSIP networking group, a volunteer for the Charlotte County Chapter of the American Red Cross and a provisional member of the Junior League of Lee County

Paul Reeves
Transaction Adviser
Paul Reeves is a native of the Chicago metro area who attended the University of Illinois, Institute of Aviation at Urbana, Illinois where he completed the Aviation Maintenance Management and Commercial Pilot training program.
He entered the United States Army Warrant Officer Candidate School and Rotary Wing Pilot course, was commissioned and spent a tour of duty in Viet Nam.
After active duty, Paul returned to the family trucking business and joined the Illinois Army National Guard. He then worked for the Guard as a civilian technician. He was an Instructor Pilot, Test Pilot, Training Manager and Maintenance and Supply Manager.
Paul continued on to pursue a career in civil aviation while still active in the Illinois Army National Guard. He was employed by a regional airline in Wisconsin, and then was a pilot for a holding company in Chicago. He also flew for the regional telephone company and finally managed worldwide flights for Morgan Stanley Financial corporate headquarters.
Paul retired from the U.S. Army in 1996, after 28 years and from Morgan Stanley in 2005 at which time he moved to Florida with Susan, his wife of 30 years, where he resides today.
In joining Chestnut and Cape’s team of Transaction Advisors he brings his management knowledge, international background and sense of mission accomplishment to help small to midsize companies succeed in this exciting and challenging market.
